Although optical mice don’t cost more than a few dollars now-a-days, this one is worth every one of its 50 dollars.
The Kensington Slimblade Bluetooth Presenter Mouse has two modes: the normal mouse mode and the presentation mode. If you had been to a few presentations you would have noticed that it is crucial for the presenter to keep people’s attention on him and advance the presentation. You have to be near the laptop to keep the slider moving and that is pretty hard to keep people interested.
The mouse has 2 regular buttons, scroll wheel which can be pressed and tilted. Tilting will allow to browse the page horizontally. There is an extra button around the scroll wheel that switches the mouse in presentation mode. In this mode, the regular buttons advance the slides and the scroll wheel makes the screen go black.
Apart from that, the design is greatly done. An inch high at it’s tallest point, the mouse is rightfuly named Slimblade. Since it is wireless, it runs on AAA batteries.
