Chris Ebejer spent over six years of his life and a lot of money in discovering a heat-sensitive pigment which changes color when temperature exceeds 37 degrees Celsius.
He wanted to create baby clothing that change color when the child has fever, so the parents now immediately and take action. He thus created Babyglow, the baby clothing which signals when a child is overheating. You no longer have to check baby’s temperature too often, one look and you’ll know that your baby is OK. The clothes come in blue, pink and green wand turn white when the temperature exceeds 37 degrees Celsius. The clothing prevents sudden infant death syndrome which is caused by overheating and warns the parents when the child is potentially sick so complications can be avoided.
The Babyglow will be available for purchasing in fall, and will retail for about US $33.
