Needles, for many people just the thought of needles is enough to make them have a panic attack, but having to suffer multiple stings because the nurse cannot locate a vein, it’s enough to develop needle phobia.
And there are some people with very difficult to locate veins who have to go through this trial and error ordeal almost every time. The AccuVein AV300 is designed to help nurses find IV sites and administer medications intravenously or collect blood. The device has infrared light which makes veins more visible through skin and it’s not influenced by patient movements, showing images in real time. The device is resistant to hospital conditions, is non contact and doesn’t require pre-calibration or special training.
More information about AccuVein AV300 can be obtained from the manufacturer website.
