TomTom is now ready with an iPhone version of its software that is now available in the iTunes App Store. TomTom is also bring a car kit.
The 2 products will be sold separately but the TomTom app works even better when paired with the TomTom car kit, which makes driving safer, more easier and less stressful.
The TomTom car kit offers a loudspeaker so you can hear the directions, enhanced GPS signal, hands-free calling, and music over your car stereo and ability to charge your iPhone at the same time. It’s able to turn your iPhone and iPod touch into a GPS device.
The app offers turn-by-turn spoken navigation and unique routing technology, voice guidance in multiple languages, the exclusive IQ Routes and latest Tele Atlas maps of the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
The app and car kit package costs $220.
