Japanese Artist Daito Manabe

Apparently subjecting yourself to unpleasant experiences just for the sake of standing out is considered an art and must criticized as one.

The Japanese artist, Daito Manabe wanted to replace the Winamp visualizer with his own face and for that he attached to his face electrodes used in the electro stimulation procedures.

The result is considered by some people interesting, for others hilarious and another category of spectators could name him horrible.

From what we know, the electro shocks applied are not painful, just uncomfortable, in the worst scenario. The movie on Youtube is the result of the test number 3, and that makes us believe that has passed a lot of electricity through the artist’s face until he got what he wanted.

In his defense we can say that the same electrodes can be used to create music, as the current registered through the muscle reaction can can change the frequency of a sound.
