Although it’s a modest player, considering the characteristics: 1GB memory, 1.5 inch LCD screen and FM radio, the gothic aspect could make the difference if the potential buyer is a heavy-metal fan.
Seriously now, do you really think a Judas Priest would look good listening music to an iPod Shuffle?
The contrast would simply be too humiliating.
Taking this player, for example, I personally think that would have been a better idea if the producers had chosen a black skull.
Another part of the design you could ignore is the one formed of the four disco LEDs near the screen.
In this way of presentation, the player fits better in the “crap-gadgets” category than in the hand of a rocker or an upset punker.
Anyway, those who appreciate the design will be pleased with the idea that can be used caught by the belt, as a buckle. The MP3 is not available in stores, yet; but it will be soon.
Don’t you need a new belt?
