The Apple Special Event Conference showed where the Apple portables are heading. And we like where they are heading.
MacBook Pro is probably the best from Apple when it comes to performance, but we’ll get to that pretty soon. The design is as cool as its name, unibody enclosure, which also means there are no detachables. The advantages are weight 2.45 kg, thickness 2.44 mm, and its sturdy.
The track-pad multi-touch is much bigger than its predecessor and it has gesture recognition, allowing you to use up to 4 fingers. Sounds corny, I know. And instead of the DVI we now have a Mini Display Port. The 15.4 inch display is accompanied by LED-backlit technology which boosts the clarity and effects.
In case you didn’t get tingles down your spine reading the above, we go to performence. Graphic nVidia chipsets, yes there are 2 of them, lets you choose from 9400M and 9600M GT, the latter being for top performance. And with the 2.53 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, 320 GB HDD SATA it costs around 2500$. There is a slightly cheaper version, but I recommend you to go with this one.
