Some say that Hario’s Glass Speakers will break the bank. And I would have to agree to that, cause only a set of these Speakers cost a whopping $168,000.
Wittingly named, the Harion Glass Speakers was handmade, hence the price and it took three years to manufacture. Actually it also took the help of other 23 subcontractors to make.
The company based in Tokyo, Hario, in the search to make a better casing for their sub woofer, decided to make the Harion from a heat resistant glass. It consists of a sub woofer, center speaker, two acrylic speakers and two mid range ones.
Although it took them a great deal of time to make this system, Hario believes that if they were to receive 10 orders for the sound system, the price could be lowered to a little over $100,000.
