LaCie, a leading manufacturer specialized in external storage devices in collaboration with the loudspeaker manufacturer Cabassee, announced their latest set of USB speakers: the LaCie Sound2 speakers. This pair of gorgeous high-end speakers that look like a pair of oversized buttons was designed by Neil Poulton.
The LaCie Sound2 speakers are USB powered, so the setup is easy; you can simply plug into a PC or Mac USB connection or line-in port on a peripheral audio/video devices like iPods and portable multimedia players, and the system is ready to go –with no driver installations being required.
The LaCie Sound2 speakers comes equipped with a Class D Digital Amplifier, a magnetic shielding, a bass reflex system, and a 30W of total peak system output.
The system is offering a frequency response between 80Hz and 20kHz.
The package comes with an external power supply to reach the optimal amplification and unique sound experience.
